Important Safety Information
The information below applies generally to treatments offered through Auva RX. It is not a substitute for a full medical evaluation. Your provider will review your individual health history before determining whether any treatment is appropriate for you.
General
Auva RX connects patients with licensed healthcare providers for evaluation and, when medically appropriate, prescription treatment. Medications, when prescribed, are compounded and dispensed by a licensed pharmacy partner. Treatment is never guaranteed — a provider will determine candidacy based on your medical history, current medications, and health goals.
About Compounded Medications
Compounded medications are prepared for individual patients by a licensed compounding pharmacy based on a provider's prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and the FDA does not review compounded medications for safety, effectiveness, or quality before they are dispensed. Compounded medications are not generic versions of, nor therapeutically equivalent to or substitutes for, any FDA-approved medication.
Who Should Not Use These Treatments
Certain medical conditions, medications, allergies, or circumstances (including pregnancy or breastfeeding) may make a treatment inappropriate for you. This is determined individually by your provider during your assessment — do not begin or continue any treatment without provider guidance.
Side Effects and Risks
All medications carry potential side effects and risks, which vary by treatment and by individual. Common effects may include injection-site reactions, digestive changes, or other treatment-specific effects your provider will discuss with you. Contact your provider promptly if you experience any symptoms that concern you.
Results Vary
Individual results vary based on personal health factors, treatment plan, and adherence. Nothing on this site should be interpreted as a guarantee of any specific outcome.
Questions
If you have questions about whether a treatment is right for you, your provider is your best resource — these can be discussed during your assessment or through follow-up messaging with your care team.
